My First Race
22nd July 2017
 
Strider Singapore had its inaugural race on the 22nd of July. Themed "My First Race" we had 34 kids that signed up for the race with ages ranging from as young as 2 years old to as old as 5 years old. 
 
The kids were not short of their support crew with grandparents, parents all in tow. The atmosphere was filled with excitement. Parents all shouting at the top of their lungs cheering their kids on. It would seem that the parents were racing as they were more stressed than the kids taking part. 
 
All the kids had at least a minimum of 2 goes on the race course from heats to semi finals where the top 3 of each semi final making their way to the final where we saw some intense competition. But at the end of the day, every kid is a winner. Each going home with a medal and certificate of participation.

Aviva Superfundae, 10th June 2017

Aviva Superfundae, an event that attracts about 5000 families is all about kids age 2 to 10. It's one big playground for kids to have fun and Strider® Singapore was proud to be part of it. 
 
We put up a Strider® Adventure Zone for the kids to race, or just have a go at what a Strider® Balance Bike is. We also had a contest with the prize as a Strider 12' black sport model. All in all the families had fun.

The roads in the civic district of Singapore were closed on May 28 to allow for a car-free society.

Strider Singapore in partnership with iwheel4fun, participated in the event to bring the awareness of push bikes to parents with children aged 2 to 5 years old.
 
Our Strider team constructed a small Strider Adventure Zone for all the kids to have a go with our free demo bikes.
